software to view large-size files

Sometimes I need to open large files in my work. emacs is very powerful but it has max buffer size limit. Others editors are SlickEdit, UltraEdit , and gvim. In the end I decide to use gvim.

type "gvim view", then choose your file and open it. It seems to be able to open 2G very quickly.
or gvim -g, then choose a file and open it !
